Well located as a base to enjoy Suffolk’s finest towns and villages – 26 miles from Cambridge, 16 miles from Bury St Edmunds and 9 miles from Sudbury.
One of Suffolk’s wool towns, there is something of interest here for everyone, including:
Wonderful architecture, with over 130 listed buildings, a host of independent shops, cafes and pubs, a magnificent wool church and a museum housed in a grade 1 listed building.
The river Stour which runs through the park was made famous by John Constable.
The 36 acre Country Park houses the ruins of a Norman castle and beautiful Victorian Railway buildings which now houses the popular Platform One Café.
We even have our own nine whole golf course, fishing ponds and a weekly Park run.
